About Wellselves

Supporting People To Live...Well

Wellselves was founded with the conviction that many people can and do, recover well from most setbacks to thrive again, when they find somewhere to feel heard, understood, better-supported, to help rebuild trust in wider human connections.

Our clinic provides psychological and allied health services to help people strengthen resilience, improve emotional wellbeing and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence.

Every person brings their own past experiences, learned meanings and goals. We work collaboratively to understand what matters most to you and tailor support to your individual circumstances.

If additional assistance appears needed with any added complexities identified, we can also offer help to clients with locating other health, community and support services.

We are committed to providing inclusive, compassionate care that recognises the diverse backgrounds, identities and life experiences of the people we support. Our aim is to create a safe and welcoming environment – where everyone feels respected, valued and empowered, to explore and pursue their present and future wellbeing goals.

Our key aims are to promote:

our story

Our Story

The first Wellselves clinic was established in Essendon, Melbourne, in 2017, providing Clinical Psychology and allied health services to the local community. As demand grew, the clinic relocated to larger premises in Coburg in 2020.

During the COVID-19 pandemic and extended Melbourne lockdowns, Wellselves adapted its service model to continue supporting clients through telehealth, while also offering limited home visiting services for people who were particularly vulnerable or unable to attend appointments.

The establishment of the Bendigo clinic reflects Wellselves' ongoing commitment to improving access to quality mental health care, with a particular focus on addressing service gaps and growing community needs in regional areas.

our approach

Our Approach

We value practical support, professional integrity and genuine human connection. Our work is guided by evidence-based practice, respect for individual differences and a commitment to helping people achieve meaningful and lasting change.

We aim to create a welcoming environment where people feel heard, respected and supported to move forward at their own pace. We also visit mobility and health-challenged people in their own homes and alternate support offered to them, via phone or online services.

In some requested cases we also may visit and outreach to schools or residential aged care facilities by negotiation.

our vision

Our Vision

We contribute to healthier, more connected communities by supporting the wellbeing of individuals, families, groups and community members.

Through evidence-informed and reviewed psychological care, mental health supportive education and close collaboration, we aim to reduce isolation, strengthen resilience and promote positive mental health across the lifespan.
